Happy New Year, dear friends! My first post of this year is about a small masculine mixed media notebook. I shot a short video tutorial on how I created this cover. You can see it on my blog.
Here's a fun album created to highlight photos from a Disney trip. It's 6 1/ 2 inch wide by 9 1/2 inch tall size has lots of flips, folds, flaps and some pop up surprises. Visit my blog to see how I made the base album and check out some of the interactive elements.

Artist Trading Coins seem to be all the rage at the moment with lots of people swapping them. I made a mini album to hold three coins securely for posting. See more HERE.
I have very special motivation behind my album for our New Year's challenge. I'm hoping to inspire joy and January vibes through this cardboard mini. Hop on over to SewPaperPaint for the closeups and tutorial.

I hope these peeks have sparked your imagination and you will pay the design team blogs a visit plus play along with our challenge, which ends at 11:55 pm EST on January 31. Join us on January 7 for the November/December challenge winners announcement.
Qualifying entries in this challenge will go in the draw to win a prize pack from our sponsor, Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts.
Our challenge follows a few simple rules:
Any Handmade Book Goes. Enter any form of handmade mini albums, scrapbooks, journals and book arts. Our focus is on completed works, so no layouts or journal spreads that are not part of a complete handmade book project. You do not have to provide a tutorial, but we wish you would. Feel free to use one of the DT tutorials to make your project and give proper credit where due. No back linking allowed. You must add our badge to your post and link to our challenge to be eligible to win the prize. Combine with any other challenges as applicable. Please limit to entering 3 (three) handmade books per month in our challenge. Permalinks only and no back linking. Share the love by visiting and commenting on other entries. Please become a follower. That's it - have fun!
